FREEDOM!

I figured now would be a good time to update because I have some wonderful news! First of all Kevin got a job down in Provo on campus that we were hoping for. It isn't a lot of hours for now but it will be great for him during the school year. So we were super happy about that news! Second, I am DONE with all my tests! I took the last three of the six this last week. I have received two of the three results and have passed them. The other won't come for about four weeks. I am so happy to be done and I feel like the weight of the world has been lifted from my shoulders. It was quite the stressful two days, but I am done and so happy!! We now know that we are headed down to Provo in a week and a half. We are excited to get down there and get our apartment all put together and settled in. I will be looking for a job to get some income while I am waiting to get my license. I am so grateful for all the support I have had from Kevin and my family through these last couple of crazy years. On to the next chapter of life! :)

Getting Started

I decided to start this blog because now I will actually have some time to do it. I guess I will just start by telling you what we are both up to these days. Kevin just finished up a semester of school at ISU. He is working toward graduating as a civil engineer. He is now busier than ever working two jobs at Pepsi and landscaping. He is a hard worker and doesn't stop until it gets dark.
I just finished my last semester at ISU, thankfully! I graduated with my Bachelor Degree in dental hygiene. It has been a long four years! I am still not done of course. I have six licensing tests. I took one in March and passed. I took two more this month and I still haven't found out how I did. I have three more coming up in June. For one of them I have to find a patient for it that has heavy, heavy build up, meaning that they haven't had their teeth cleaned for at least 7-10 years. It has been very challenging and I am still struggling to find them. Wish me luck!
We are planning on moving to Provo this summer. We will stay here until I finish my tests and then we already have an apartment down there that is right by campus. Kevin is all registered for BYU in the Fall. He is pretty excited to attend BYU, he is just worried about the size of the campus and finding things. I am just wondering how I will get anywhere without getting lost! I have no sense of direction down in Provo! I will hopefully be able to find a job down there. That is all the update I have for now. Until next time! :)
